New Zealand ACT party having problems

Who would have thought the ACT PARTY would be infighting and is this their demise. Being in the Coaltion government was in fact not a good ides as they became a lackey for the Key government instead of staying away and being an independent voice which would have got them more credits. They were so desperate they brought back the worst guy Roger Douglas into Parlt --the man who brought gloom to industry and unemployment to NZ and who was not liked by the Key government.

Rodney Hide seems to be a bully and in the front line with his party who looks more like a big time wrestler. Then we have his party Peter Tashkoff challenging party leader Rodney Hide for the Epsom nomination at the next election. Act has five MPs in Parliament and Heather Roy was one who started the rift between herself and Rodney Hide. Hide said that Roy would find it extremely difficult to stay on as an MP but then recantedf this and shes back!!! Its becoming a joke now. Heather's ministerial advisor, admitted leaking a document saying she had difficulty working with Hide and he was a bully---but then she changed her mind---what a party but it could now be their own demise as they try to salvage whatever they have left. A crisis caucus meeting saw first-term MP John Boscawen replacing Heather Roy as the deputy in the ACT party. Hide appeared to be threatened by both Roy and Douglas! but where will it end now.

Now we have disgraced Act MP David Garrett quit ACT due to using a dead child to gain a passport?---what the heck was this guy thinking and no matter what the past will always haunt you. he had stolen the identity of a dead baby in 1984 to obtain a false passport. He was arrested and charged 21 years later but discharged without conviction in court. Garrett, built a reputation as a hard-line law and order campaigner, revealed that he had criminal charges laid against him in the past that he failed to reveal publicly when he became a member of parliament. What with Rodney Hide the party is doomed to failure.

The Government has Act Party support for extending the 90-day employment law to all business, but the Maori Party may oppose it, Prime Minister John Key said.

NZ'ders are walking on a tightrope and we are being overtaken by immigrants. No jobs in NZ as manufacturers cannot compete which is natural and now we have politicians dipping into travle etc for sdpouses and girlfriends.

But look what Mr Peters has done for our country. I am part Maori and lived overseas for many years who has seen the light but NZ is selling itself year by year piece by piece. We made the mistake of allowing too many immigrants into NZ who employ there own, bring and exploit our country and our people are lost. Look at Thailand--no sub prime - you have to have a Thai partner in Business-- you cannot buy land unlee you invest 40m baht then only 1 Rai (1/2 an acre) & must sell it once you stop your company ---good rules but we are selling our lands for purely monetary only. Expenses are climbing for householders and the government is only conserned wioth themselves and big business & how to extract more $$ for themselves.
