Gian Pacific Whenever you use a clearing agent make sure on the Bill of Lading you have the name and address of your Delivery Agent for the Shipping company and use them. If you pass from the name on the BIL (BILL OF LADING) to another company then the first one will send you a bill to release the cargo to your agent. Always check who the receiver and ships agent is and ask for a draft first to check that the BIL goes to your agent direct. This costs $460 -$500 in NZ for LCL.

SEA FREIGHT: The minimum package if sending by Sea Freight is 1cbm WHICH IS 1M X 1M X 1M. All LCL ( lower than container level cargo) is packed in wood crates.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:

When shipping sometimes the ship will arrive at another entry port and then devanned especially for LCL cargo. Do not worry the goods will be then trucked to the destination port as written in your quote. Some senders have been told they have to pay extra in the receiving country but this is not true. Our job in Thiland is to make sure the goods your are sending arrive safely in the destination port and we make every effort to make sure. However there have been instances when goods go in a rounf about travel route but this is the shipping line (ship) route which we cannot change. We send FOB (free on board the ship) or CIF (Cost insurance and freight) or CF (Cost, freight).

Once the shipment reaches its destination port then we are not responsible.

SENDING GOODS OUT OF NEW ZEALAND worldwide:

Try to work out how many cubic metres you need to ship. Min 1cbm and this means 1m x1m x1m. LCL = MEANS LOWER THAN CONTAINER LEVELS. Over 1cbm the price gets cheaper so the more you do the cheaper it becomes. Remember transport costs are expensive in NZ so get full costs first. Our parent company can do any clearing in Thailand BUT WE CAN ARRANGE ALL SHIPMENTS OUT OF NZ WHETHER IT BE CHRISTCHURCH, AUCKLAND OR WELLINGTON plus offer good priced transport services.
